Nestled within the majestic peaks of Upper Hunza lies a remarkable plateau, cradled between two vast glaciers. While Patundas is essentially a pastoral meadow, its allure extends far beyond. Bordered by the imposing Passu Glacier on one side and the grand Batura Glacier on the other, Patundas presents some of Pakistan’s most breathtaking glacier panoramas.

Participants arrive in the enchanting Upper Hunza Valley. After settling in, an introductory briefing about the trek will be provided. The rest of the day is free to acclimatize and explore the nearby surroundings. Overnight stay in a local guesthouse or campsite.

Altitude: Approximately 3,700 m

 

Begin the trek early morning towards the Patundas Base Camp. The trail offers mesmerizing views of the surrounding peaks and the Hunza River winding below. As you ascend, the landscape transitions from lush green meadows to rocky terrains. By afternoon, reach the Patundas Base Camp. Set up camp, rest, and enjoy the serene mountain ambience. Overnight camping.

Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the surrounding peaks. After breakfast, begin the descent back to the starting point. The return journey allows for a different perspective of the landscape. Upon reaching the endpoint, bid farewell to the majestic Upper Hunza Valley.
